At this point most universities nationwide have moved to some version of remote learning in response to the spread of COVID-19. Most of the chapter houses that we service have mirrored the decisions of their university. We’ve seen several action plans; normal service, partial service, delayed service, and a few houses have cancelled service for the remainder of the 2019-20 academic school year. We remain committed to flexibility to help everyone get through this and to ensure that any chapter members present have food on the table.
Our first priority has been ensuring the health and safety of our clients and our employees. We continue to go above and beyond to maintain safe and sanitary food preparation and service standards. Our management team attended a webinar that was hosted by ServSafe of the National Restaurant Association to gain a further understanding of this virus and preventative measures that we can employ to further ensure the safety of all involved. To date, we are adhering to best practices and will continue to do so. If any new guidelines are issued, we will promptly adhere.
Our second priority has been to maintain employment for our staff through the end of the academic school year. We are committed to supporting our incredible team and their families through this difficult time. We appreciate all of the organizations that have recognized this very important need and that have partnered with us in ensuring their employment.
If any of our clients, employees, or other partners within our industry need help in any way or have any questions please reach out to us. Thank you again for working with us in a very unknown and difficult to navigate situation.
