Chef Kevin Gadus

Founder & Owner

Kevin Gadus graduated from the Cooking and Hospitality Institute of Chicago before going on to gain over twenty years-worth of culinary experience. He’s a former restaurant owner and a Certified Executive Chef. He started College Chefs in 2008 in an effort to deliver a higher quality food to the nation’s youth than had previously been on the market.

DANIEL STICH

Directors of Finance & Administration

Daniel Stich graduated from The University of Illinois. in 2010 with a BS in Mathematics. A few years later in the summer of 2012, he started working with College Chefs. Daniel handles all of College Chefs’ internal accounting functions and other general office administrative work.

CHEF JARED BOST

Directors of Operations

Originally from the small town of Chillicothe in southern Ohio, Chef Jared Bost received most of his culinary and managerial training from two restaurants: "Spagio" in Columbus, Ohio and "Furnace Creek Resort" in Death Valley National Park. He’s an outdoorsman, music lover, and golfer. His food influences are largely drawn from Mediterranean cuisine.

Hailing from California and an alumni of Purdue University, Jordan represents College Chefs at various campuses around the country. Jordan draws from his background in sales, his own Greek experience, and his undeniable charm & wit to help organizations find solutions to their food service needs.

CHEF JOHN CAGLE

Regional Director

Chef John Cagle is a graduate of The Cooking and Hospitality Institute of Chicago. He's worked in various roles from line cook to general manager in restaurants throughout the US over the past decade. Most recently, Chef John served as the Director of Career Services at Le Cordon Bleu Chicago. John also taught and worked in France for four years, and credits this experience for his love of food and food culture. With College Chefs, Chef John travels the nation providing support & advice to Chefs across the United States.

CHEF JUSTIN ELLINGWOOD

Regional Director

Having spent an enormous amount of time in his grandmother’s home kitchen, it wasn’t until Chef Justin Ellingwood was in his mid 20’s that he realized his true passion for cooking. Almost 10 years later and having experienced a plethora of culinary jobs ranging from fine dining to health care, finally Justin has found a home working for College Chefs. Even though his experiences have allowed him to work next to some famous, world-renowned chefs, it’s being able to do what he loves while still being available to his wife and kids that really matters to him. In his free time, Justin enjoys playing golf and broadening his worldly culinary horizons.

CHEF LISA MORGAN

Regional Director

Chef Lisa Morgan was born in California, lives in Lexington, Kentucky, and has resided all across the country. A self-proclaimed Army brat, as a youngster she took on the role of going to the grocery store and cooking when she was just 12. Her love for cooking grew immensely from then on and shows no signs of stopping anytime soon. With her life experience and professional background that includes travelling and training Chefs around the country, Chef Lisa excels at supporting College Chefs staff & customers wherever support is needed.

CHEF AARON TWITTY

Regional Director

A native of Fayetteville, West Virginia, Chef Aaron Twitty gained vast knowledge cooking in the Pennsylvania and West Virginia region. A graduate of Fairmont State University’s culinary program, he has been cooking since he was 14 years of age, landing his his first job as an Executive Chef at the age of 20 -- Chef Aaron also interned at the famous Greenbrier Resort. Given his passion for food and unique experience, Chef Aaron works with College Chefs staff around the country to provide support, offer menu ideas & ordering assistance, and to help facilitate College Chefs' high standards of excellence in food.

Area Manager

Born & raised in the heart of the southwest (Tucson, Arizona), Chef Logan believes that food, family, friends & music are some of the most important things in life. His love for cuisine comes from growing up in a large family of both food lovers and talented cooks. For Logan, becoming a Chef was a very natural thing. Whether he is preparing one of his Grandma’s Lebanese recipes, creating new dishes with his authentic Arizona style, or pleasing a crowd with the old French Classics… food is more than just a passion for Logan – it is a way of life. At College Chefs, Chef Logan currently travels the country supporting and advising company Chefs.

CHEF ROBERT SCHUMACHER

Area Manager

After six years with Bern’s Steakhouse in Tampa, FL, Robert knew he had to move on to new ventures. He found himself in Gainesville, FL so that he could be closer to family. There he discovered College Chefs and instantly knew this was the company he wanted to work for. He began as the Head Chef of a large fraternity at the University of Florida. Within months of starting, College Chefs began to take notice. He took the same principles he learned from fine dining, and applied them to the food he was serving the fraternity. To say the fraternity was happy would be an understatement. Robert appreciates everything food related including those who get to enjoy his cooking.

CHEF ORION SHELTON

Area Manager

Chef Orion Shelton found his passion for cooking while growing up in Taos, New Mexico. This is where he developed a love affair with Hatch Green Chilés and started working in restaurants at age 13 as a dishwasher. The cooks at that restaurant took him under their wing and taught him the basics, from there he flourished and in a couple years he was a lead line cook at a popular local restaurant. Orion furthered his culinary education in San Diego and has worked in almost every aspect of the restaurant industry. Currently residing in Tucson, Arizona, Chef Orion travels coast to coast helping support Chefs on all different campuses across the country.

CHEF SHAUN KURIATA

Area Manager

Chef Shaun Kuriata started his career in the food industry as a dishwasher at a hometown favorite in Michigan, where he currently resides. Given a chance to work on the line, Shaun soon developed a love and passion for creating exceptional food. After attending culinary school, Chef Shaun’s career took him to Florida and across the Midwest where he worked as an Executive Chef in different culinary environments. As a part of the College Chefs team, Chef Shaun shares his passion with chapters around the country as he supports and advises company Chefs.

Senior Account Manager

Vytas has been an Account Manager at College Chefs since February 2012. After graduating from University of Illinois with an Economics degree, he searched for the perfect sales job, working in the insurance, golf, and mortgage industries. Finally, he found a home with College Chefs. His love of travel, passion to meet new people, and instinct to know when to listen has made him a great fit. As a single digit handicap golfer, College Chefs’ only struggle with Vytas is keeping him off the golf course, as that is his 2nd greatest passion, right behind working for College Chefs.

CHEF LIZ PELC

Special Events Coordinator

As a Special Events Coordinator at College Chefs, Liz coordinates and assists in planning special events and philanthropies with chapters around the country. She graduated from the Cooking and Hospitality Institute of Chicago and has spent the last 14 years of her time working in kitchens in roles from prep-cook to executive chef, in addition to several years as a Culinary Arts Instructor. Liz enjoys gardening and playing badminton in her free time.

CODY SULLIVAN

Marketing Coordinator

Cody's marketing degree and culinary training give him the tools to tell College Chefs' story as the company's Marketing Coordinator. Cody has a Bachelors in Marketing from Northern Illinois University and also received a culinary certificate from the Ecole Ritz Escoffier in Paris, France. He has a passion for food and business and sees College Chefs as the ideal opportunity to combine these passions. Outside of work, Cody enjoys traveling, reading, and any new experiences.

CHEF RILEY MILLER

Special Events Coordinator

Riley Miller brings a wide range of experiences to his position of Special Events Coordinator at College Chefs. Prior to beginning his College Chefs career as an Assistant Chef in a sorority, Riley worked in a variety of positions for some of the finest hotels and restaurants in both the U.S. and Europe. Drawing on this diverse work background and his own Greek experience at Indiana University, Riley brings a creative flair and an emphasis on excellent service to each and every Special Event he helps to coordinate. Riley looks forward to helping to make your chapter’s Special Event one to remember.

ERIN HADLEY

Accounting Clerk

Erin brings a passion for numbers and an extensive background in Human Resources and Accounting to her role as Accounting Clerk for College Chefs. She was born and raised in Decatur, IL just a few blocks from Millikin University, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources. When not at work, Erin has one son, Nolan, who keeps her busy and entertained.

LORI NICOSON

Accountant

Lori is a native of Central Illinois and a graduate of Illinois State University. Working as an auditor for most of her career, she has experience with all aspects of the accounting process. After spending nearly 20 years in Southern California, Lori returned to Central Illinois shortly before joining the College Chefs team. When she's not enjoying her life's passion for horses, Lori loves to spend time with family and friends.

VERONICA SANCHEZ

Operations Coordinator

A graduate of The University of Illinois and originally from Chicago, Veronica assists all College Chefs’s staff with everything HR-related. Extremely organized, driven, and skilled in many areas, Veronica has proven herself as an asset to the College Chefs’s Management Team. She also has an excellent track record of recruiting and assisting College Chefs in keeping the pipeline of chef candidates billowing with qualified individuals. Once hired on, Veronica is often the first individual that new employees will meet after the thorough interview process.
